The purpose of the John Franklin Scholarship Association, Inc. is to encourage and promote the attainment of higher education goals for youth and to provide some financial assistance.

2025 Scholarship Application - Now available
Since 2006, the John Franklin Scholarship Association has awarded over $368,000 in scholarships to local graduating seniors.
Award Amounts:
Starting with 2023, recipients will be selected to receive $4,000 per year, awarded as $2,000 per semester. The scholarship is renewable each year for a maximum of four years upon submitting proof of enrollment and maintaining a passing GPA.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the 2025 Scholarship, students must attend one of the following schools:
- H.M. King Early College High School, Kingsville, Texas
- Academy High School, Kingsville, Texas
- Kaufer Early College High School, Riviera, Texas
- Bishop High School, Bishop, Texas
- Burnet High School, Burnet, Texas
- Quest High School, Burnet, Texas
